About Us
We have been part of various music scenes for over 25 years, starting in the world of music production on an old Fostex 4-track back in 1996. We’ve come a long way through many years, bands, albums, and studios. We’ve spent time promoting and playing live. We’ve worked and studied production and recording in professional studios. But we have always loved mix engineering the most. There’s something really satisfying about having a finished product that sounds great and that will exist for a long time. We’re passionate about music, and that translates into our work. Now, so many years later, we finally have the experience and the gear we’ve always wanted. Time to help others achieve their music potential…
We have invested a lot of time in learning what makes a good recording and what appeals to those who are listening. Our extensive experience with recording both on our own and in large production studios has prepared us to be able to give you the exact sound you're looking for.
We’ve been able to help a bunch of songwriters and bands realize their vision. See our testimonials below from real clients we’ve helped over the years. Our approach is simple: Our job is to make your hard work sound as good as possible.
Many musicians now have easy access to recording software and equipment. This enables independent musicians to create their own high-quality multi-track recordings in the comfort of their own surroundings and at their own pace. However, a great recording doesn’t always become a great sounding professional mix. That’s where we come in.
Our mixing and mastering process can achieve the sparkle, polish, and commercial loudness level without compromising the quality of your recordings.
Sorry, we're not analog-only purists. We use both quality analog gear and high-end mixing software. Much progress has been made in the digital realm during the past few years and we believe (as do many other well respected professional mix engineers in the industry) that with the right tools and the right expertise an ITB ("in the box") mix can sound incredibe. We use a hybrid setup and believe that modern software combined with well recorded analog tracks can achieve the pro sound you're looking for.
We don't take shortcuts. We don't just run your song through a mix template. Each project is approached with your specific objectives and ideas in mind. Of course, we have some "go to" tricks up our sleeve, but we always do what is appropriate for the needs of your track. Because of this, you can be sure that your track won't sound like everything else we mix. We care about your project. Once we’ve worked on it, we want to be proud of it also!

Our mixroom is fully acoustically treated with Auralex LENRD bass traps, SonoColumns, DST-112 absorption panels, monitor isolation, and a large quadratic diffuser. We also have a treated vocal booth (although we have good results with open-room vocals tracked in our mixroom with an acoustic isolation shield).
Our professional front end provides premium AD/DA conversion, incredible sounding soft limit mic preamps, and Class A JFET hi-z inputs for high quality instrument recording.
We’re stocked with quality vocal and instrument microphones from Shure, AKG, Bluebird, Slate, and others, including 2 new mic systems that allow us to accurately model extremely high-end mics from Neumann, Telefunken, Sennheiser, and Royer that are usually only found in major studios. We also have studio-standard features like guitar reamping capability, rackmounted gear (XLR/TRS patchbays, tuner, headphone amps, DI), performer cue monitoring, etc.
